Biography

Ed Palmer is an award winning writer/director from Dorset, UK.

His debut feature Hippopotamus starring Ingvild Deila (Star Wars Rogue One, Avengers age of Ultron) premiered at Manchester Film Festival and had an award winning international run. Oscar winning cinematographer Sir Roger Deakins described the film as "mesmerising" and Business Insider listed it as "one of the best films of all time that you've probably never seen".

Ed has interest in dark themes and a precise visual style illustrated in Hippopotamus and his short film Nightingale, but can also turn his hand to light hearted comedy drama as shown in The Yelling Method.

He is currently developing his second feature, a missing child drama titled The Devil You Know
